How much is your health insurance really costing?

Updated: Nov 28, 2019

Here is an example of what some of the Obamacare Marketplace plans offered. I ran the numbers loosely based on my age and average amount of care I would need. The estimated total out of pocket is between $26,000 and $27,000 for either plan which includes premiums, deductibles, prescriptions, and co-insurance. These are all variables that must be considered when selecting the plan that is appropriate for you and your family. Finding out after you need to use your insurance is not when you want to find out about the other costs included in the cost of your policy. I have options that can keep your premiums down, eliminate deductibles, and re-insure your risk in the event of a catastrophic health event.
